March 27, 2024: Fort Thomas, KY 41075 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) and the visiting Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts (Erlanger, KY), witnessed Highlands's softball squad prevail over Lloyd Memorial by a count of 17-2.
The Bluebirds now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Harrison County for a non-league match on Thursday, March 28. Highlands will meet a Thorobreds squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Thorobreds record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Lloyd Memorial moves to 2-6 on the season. The Juggernauts travel to Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY) to meet the Colonels in a District 34 match on Friday, March 29.
