Alabama High School Softball - Hoover bounces Spain Park
March 27, 2024: Hoover, AL 35244 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) and the visiting Spain Park Jaguars (Hoover, AL), witnessed Hoover's softball squad prevail over Spain Park by a count of 8-0.
The Buccaneers now sport a 18-4 record. They play next when they travel to Springville for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 2. Hoover will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 14-5.
With the loss, Spain Park moves to 12-9 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Chelsea (Chelsea, AL) to meet the Hornets in a 7A Area 6 match on Tuesday, April 2. The Hornets go into the match with a record of 9-13. Chelsea won 16-0 in their recent non-league match against Leeds (Leeds, AL)
