Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA), 7-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Auburn moves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA) to confront the Bears in a Mountain Empire match on Friday, March 28. The Bears come into the match with a record of 1-2. Bland County lost 18-9 in their recent league match against Grayson County (Independence, VA)

The Bruins now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lord Botetourt for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 1. Blacksburg will confront a Cavaliers squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Heritage (Lynchburg, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-1.
