The Berry Wildcats baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Marion County Red Raiders to 4 in the Wildcats league win on Thursday.

The Wildcats now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pickens Academy for a non-league test on Friday, March 28. Berry will play a Pirates team coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 8-9.

With the defeat, Marion County drops to 2-14 on the year. The Red raiders host Brilliant (Brilliant, AL) to play the Tigers in a 1A Area 10 test on Tuesday, April 1. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 3-6.
