March 27, 2025: Gilman City, MO 64642 The Polo Panthers baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Gilman City Hawks to 0 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.
The Panthers now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Penney for a Class 2 District 15 test on Monday, March 31. Polo will play a Hornets team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Osborn (Osborn, MO). The Hornets record now stands at 0-5.
With the defeat, Gilman City drops to 0-1 on the year. The Hawks travel to North Platte (Dearborn, MO) to play the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, March 31. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 2-3. North Platte lost 9-7 in their recent non-league test against Lathrop (Lathrop, MO)
