The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA) and the visiting Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA), saw Hughson's baseball team gain a win over Ripon by a tally of 9-5.

The Huskies (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Orestimba (Newman, CA). The Warriors enter the Trans Valley League battle with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, Orestimba was overwhelmed by Hughson (Hughson, CA), 18-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Indians face the Sonora Wildcats (Sonora, CA) in a Trans Valley League battle, on Friday, March 28. Ripon will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 2-10 record after their 2-1 league loss to Ripon (Ripon, CA).
