Missouri High School Baseball - Oran edges Portageville
March 27, 2025: Oran, MO 63771 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Oran Eagles (Oran, MO) and the visiting Portageville Bulldogs (Portageville, MO), saw Oran's baseball team beat Portageville by a margin of 8-5.
The Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Vienna (Vienna, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Vienna nipped Cobden (Cobden, IL), 15-2, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Portageville drops to 5-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Bernie (Bernie, MO) to clash with the Mules in a Class 2 District 1 challenge on Saturday, March 29. The Mules go into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Bernie won 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Puxico (Puxico, MO)
