March 27, 2025: La Verne, CA 91750 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Southlands Christian Eagles (Rowland Heights, CA) and the host Calvary Baptist Cougars (La Verne, CA), observed Southlands Christian's volleyball team top Calvary Baptist by a count of 3-0.
The Eagles (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Western Christian (Upland, CA). The Fighting Lancers enter the Academy contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Western Christian notched a victory over Calvary Chapel (Downey, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Cougars battle the EF Academy EF Academy (Pasadena, CA) in a Prep contest, on Monday, April 7. Calvary Baptist will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record.
