Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Windber wallops McConnellsburg
March 27, 2025: McConnellsburg, PA 17233 The Windber Ramblers baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host McConnellsburg Spartans to 0 in the Ramblers non-league win on Thursday.
The Ramblers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Portage for a non-league test on Monday, March 31. Windber will play a Mustangs team coming off a 21-1 non-league win over Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, McConnellsburg drops to 1-2 on the year. The Spartans host Forbes Road (Waterfall, PA) to play the in a test on Thursday, April 3. The go into the test with a record of 0-3. Forbes Road lost 14-0 in their recent non-league test against Southern Huntingdon County (Three Springs, PA)
