Washingtonville Wizards (Washingtonville, NY) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the host Rondout Valley Ganders (Accord, NY), 11-10 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Washingtonville improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Wizards travel to Middletown (Middletown, NY) to play the Middie Bears in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 1. The Middie Bears come into the game with a record of 0-1. Middletown lost 17-1 in their recent non-league game against Saugerties (Saugerties, NY)

The Ganders now have a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wallkill for a non-league game on Friday, April 4.
