The Apex Friendship Patriots baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Apex Cougars to 2 in the Patriots non-league win on Thursday.

The Patriots now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Green Hope for a non-league test on Friday, March 28. Apex Friendship will play a Falcons team coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Panther Creek (Cary, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 4-8.

With the defeat, Apex drops to 7-3 on the year. The Cougars host Middle Creek (Apex, NC) to play the Mustangs in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 7-2.
