Virginia High School Soccer - Indian River nudges Green Run
March 27, 2025: Chesapeake, VA 23325 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA) and the visiting Green Run Stallions (Virginia Beach, VA), saw Indian River's soccer squad hold off Green Run by a count of 2-1.
The Braves (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA). The Marlins enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Bayside was nudged by Maury (Norfolk, VA), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, Green Run moves to 0-1 on the year. The Stallions host Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA) to encounter the Mighty Bookers in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 31. The Mighty Bookers go into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Booker T. Washington lost 6-4 in their recent league challenge against Churchland (Portsmouth, VA)
