March 27, 2025: Salisbury, NC 28146 The East Rowan Mustangs softball squad (Salisbury, NC), was routed 7-4 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC)
With the triumph, Alexander Central improves its record to 11-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Hibriten (Lenoir, NC) to face the Panthers in a Northwestern 3A/4A contest on Friday, March 28. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 10-2. Hibriten won 15-5 in their recent non-league contest against Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC)
The Mustangs now hold a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Concord for a South Piedmont 3A contest on Friday, March 28. East Rowan will face a Spiders squad coming off a 24-9 non-league win over Albemarle (Albemarle, NC). The Spiders record now stands at 6-4.
