In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Central Bears (Brooksville, FL) softball squad triumphed over the host Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL), by a count of 21-2.

Next, the Bears meet the Weeki Wachee Hornets (Weeki Wachee, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 28. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 13-4 non-league loss to Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL).

The Sharks (1-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Weeki Wachee overcame Central (Brooksville, FL), 14-4, in a non-league challenge.
