The Palisades Pumas softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Berry Cardinals to 6 in the Pumas league win on Thursday.

The Pumas now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Porter Ridge for a non-league battle on Friday, March 28. Palisades will confront a Pirates team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Berry moves to 5-9 on the season. The Cardinals host South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Sabres in a So Meck 4A battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Sabres come into the battle with a record of 8-7. South Mecklenburg won 18-1 in their recent league battle against Olympic (Charlotte, NC)
