March 27, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70113 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Booker T. Washington Lions (New Orleans, LA) and the visiting Morris Jeff Pelicans (New Orleans, LA), observed Booker T. Washington's softball team prevail over Morris Jeff by a tally of 25-10.
The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Cavalier go into the 4A District 9 bout with a 8-5 record. In their last bout, De La Salle knocked off Cabrini (New Orleans, LA), 8-6, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Pelicans clash with the Ursuline Academy Lions (New Orleans, LA) in a 3A District 9 bout, on Friday, March 28. Morris Jeff will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA).
