In Thursday's league match, the visiting Fallston Cougars softball team scored a nice 16-3 victory over the Elkton Golden Elks.

The Cougars (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Joppatowne (Joppa, MD). The Mariners go into the Upper Chesapeake Bay match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Joppatowne was routed by Perryville (Perryville, MD), 12-6, in a league match.
