The Hickory Hornets softball squad (Hermitage, PA), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Fort LeBoeuf Bison (Waterford, PA)

With the triumph, Fort LeBoeuf improves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Bison travel to Meadville (Meadville, PA) to face the Bulldogs in a District 10 Region 5 contest on Tuesday, April 1. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 1-1.

The Hornets now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Sharpsville for a non-league contest on Monday, March 31.
