The Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions triumphed over the host Geneva Eagles softball squad by a count of 20-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions play the Elyria Catholic Panthers (Elyria, OH) in a North Coast challenge, on Thursday, April 3. Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 15-6 non-league win over Buckeye (Medina, OH).
