In Friday's league bout, the Great Hearts Anthem Eagles (Anthem, AZ) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Valley Lutheran Flames (Phoenix, AZ), by a count of 23-2.

The Eagles now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Joseph City for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 1. Great Hearts Anthem will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 11-5 non-league loss to Kingman Academy (Kingman, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-3.

With the defeat, Valley Lutheran drops to 1-5 on the year. The Flames travel to Maryvale Prep (Phoenix, AZ) to encounter the Matador in a 1A West bout on Monday, April 6. The Matador enter the bout with a record of 1-3.
