March 27, 2026: Fayette, AL 35555 The Fayette County Tigers baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Brooks Lions to 0 in the Tigers non-league win on Friday.
The Tigers now own a 9-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Curry for a 4A Area 10 test on Tuesday, March 31. Fayette County will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 11-6 non-league loss to Winston County (Double Springs, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-11.
The Lions (14-6) will now prepare for their bout against Lawrence County (Moulton, AL). The Red Devils enter the non-league bout with a 2-15 record. In their last bout, Lawrence County was overwhelmed by Homewood (Homewood, AL), 14-4, in a non-league bout.
