Marshall Barristers (Los Angeles, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Magnolia Sentinels (Anaheim, CA), 9-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Barristers now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Sotomayor for a Northern challenge on Wednesday, April 8. Marshall will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 16-6 non-league win over Roybal (Los Angeles, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Magnolia falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Sentinels travel to Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA) to battle the Argonauts in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 31. The Argonauts enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. Garden Grove won 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA)
