March 28, 2022: Palatine, IL 60074 Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

Game Summary
Emily Fox found Ryane Emory in the penalty area in the 17th minute. Emory's shot was saved, by Riley Schimanski knocked in the rebound to put the Warriors up 1-0. Deerfield increased the lead at 29:59 when Katie Morgan's pass sprung Simone Criz down the left wing, leading to a cross and finish by Schimanski. Emily Fox finished a cross from Holly Deutsch at 49:03 to make it 3-0. Ally Linn rifled home a cross from Jessie Fisher at 51:23 before Fox finished out the Deerfield scoring was a blast from 20 yards. Lauren Gottlieb made 6 saves in goal for the Warriors, who improved to 4-0.
