Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Governor Mifflin nips Hempfield
March 28, 2023: Shillington, PA 19607 Governor Mifflin Mustangs (Shillington, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Hempfield Black Knights (Landisville, PA), 8-7 in a non-league test.
With the win, Governor Mifflin upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Conrad Weiser (Robesonia, PA) to battle the Scouts in a non-league test on Friday, March 31. The Scouts come into the test with a record of 1-1. Conrad Weiser lost 12-3 in their recent non-league test against Berks Catholic (Reading, PA)
With the defeat, Hempfield falls to 1-1 on the season. The Black knights travel to Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 30. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 0-0.
