Georgia High School Lacrosse - Mount Vernon drops to Lovett
March 28, 2023: Atlanta, GA 30328 Lovett Lions (Atlanta, GA) followers exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA), 25-2 in a league battle.
The Lions now have a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Pace Academy for a 1A-4A Area 4 battle on Friday, March 31. Lovett will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA). The Knights record now stands at 7-5.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Whitefield Academy WolfPack (Mableton, GA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 5. Mount Vernon will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record.
