Florida High School Softball - St. Petersburg bounces Boca Ciega
March 28, 2023: Gulfport, FL 33707 St. Petersburg Green Devils (St. Petersburg, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Boca Ciega Pirates (Gulfport, FL), 17-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Green Devils now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gibbs for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 29. St. Petersburg will face a Gladiators squad coming off a 19-4 non-league loss to Keswick Christian (St. Petersburg, FL). The Gladiators record now stands at 0-7.
With the loss, Boca Ciega falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Northside Christian (St. Petersburg, FL) to face the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 30. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Northside Christian lost 17-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakeside Christian (Clearwater, FL)
