Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Potts Camp Cardinals (Potts Camp, MS), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Potts Camp for a 2A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 4.

With the loss, Potts Camp falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Smithville (Smithville, MS) to battle the Seminoles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 1.
