March 28, 2024: Fairhope, AL 36532 Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Fairhope Pirates (Fairhope, AL) and the visiting Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL), saw Fairhope's baseball squad knock off Mountain Brook by a count of 4-2.
Coming up next, the Pirates play the Baldwin County Tigers (Bay Minette, AL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 1. Fairhope will attempt to move on its 18-9 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 16-9 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Washington County (Chatom, AL).
The Spartans now possess a 22-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shades Valley for a 6A Area 9 battle on Tuesday, April 2. Mountain Brook will play a Mounties squad coming off a 20-1 league loss to Homewood (Homewood, AL). The Mounties record now stands at 3-17.
