Kentucky High School Softball - Central Hardin holds off Taylor County
March 28, 2024: Cecilia, KY 42724 Central Hardin Bruins (Cecilia, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Taylor County Cardinals (Campbellsville, KY), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Bruins now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Male for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 29. Central Hardin will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Madison Central (Richmond, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Taylor County falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY) to face the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 29. The Broncos enter the challenge with a record of 6-3. Frederick Douglass won 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Lafayette (Lexington, KY)
