March 28, 2024: Painesville, OH 44077 James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Warhawks now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tippecanoe for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 29. James Madison will battle a Red Devils squad coming off a 18-4 non-league loss to George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Riverside falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Lincoln (Shinnston, WV) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 29. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Lincoln lost 16-6 in their recent league challenge against Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV)
