The Alleghany Trojans baseball squad (Sparta, NC), was overwhelmed 7-0 in Friday's league contest with the host North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC)

With the triumph, North Stokes moves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC) to confront the Knights in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 29. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 6-5. Chatham Charter won 5-2 in their recent non-league contest against Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC)

The Trojans now possess a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Wilkes for a Northwest 1A contest on Tuesday, April 1. Alleghany will confront a Cardinals squad coming off a 8-7 league win over South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-3.
