Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC), 7-5 in a league match.

With the triumph, Apex Friendship advances its record to 8-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Tuscola (Waynesville, NC) to battle the Mountaineers in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 2. The Mountaineers come into the match with a record of 9-2.

The Falcons now have a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laney for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 2. Green Hope will battle a Buccaneers squad coming off a 6-2 league win over North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 7-4.
