March 28, 2025: Benton, AR 72015 The Olentangy Orange Pioneers baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Benton Panthers to 2 in the Pioneers non-league win on Friday.
The Pioneers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lafayette for a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. Olentangy Orange will clash with a Commodores team coming off a 2-1 league win over Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Commodores record now stands at 12-6.
With the defeat, Benton drops to 6-3 on the year. The Panthers host Star City (Star City, AR) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 1-7. Star City lost 13-2 in their recent non-league test against Woodlawn (Rison, AR)
