In Friday's non-league bout, the Briarcrest Christian Saints (Eads, TN) baseball squad overwhelmed the host St. Rita Mustangs (Chicago, IL), by a tally of 16-2.

Next up, the Saints encounter the Tipton Christian Academy Eagles (Covington, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 28. Briarcrest Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 4-11 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Ripley (Ripley, TN).

The Mustangs (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against McCallie (Chattanooga, TN). The Blue Tornado come into the non-league outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, McCallie was overwhelmed by Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN), 10-0, in a league outing.
