In Friday's league game, the host Cheraw Braves baseball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Buford Yellow Jackets.

The Braves (9-2) will now prepare for their game against York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Patriots go into the game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, York Prep was tipped by Lewisville (Richburg, SC), 11-1, in a non-league game.
