March 28, 2025: Canby, OR 97013 The Canby Cougars baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting McDaniel Mountain Lions to 0 in the Cougars non-league win on Friday.
The Cougars now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Putnam for a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. Canby will clash with a Kingsmen team coming off a 11-5 non-league win over Cleveland (Portland, OR). The Kingsmen record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, McDaniel drops to 2-4 on the year. The Mountain lions host Cleveland (Portland, OR) to clash with the Warriors in a 6A Portland Interscholastic test on Saturday, March 29. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-1. Cleveland lost 14-4 in their recent non-league test against Canby (Canby, OR)
