The Seguin Matadors baseball team scored 18 runs and held the host Lanier Voks to 0 in the Matadors league win on Friday.

The Matadors now hold a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they host Jefferson for a 5A Region IV District 27 test on Tuesday, April 1. Seguin will play a Mustangs team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Burbank (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-10.

With the defeat, Lanier drops to 1-10 on the year. The Voks travel to Jefferson (San Antonio, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Region IV District 27 test on Tuesday, April 8. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 9-10.
