March 28, 2025: Chicago, IL 60625 The Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL) baseball got by the visiting Lewis County Panthers (Hohenwald, TN), 12-11 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Francis W. Parker for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 31. Northside will clash with a Colonels team coming off a 17-11 non-league loss to Proviso West (Hillside, IL). The Colonels record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Lewis County drops to 6-8 on the year. The Panthers host Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 28. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Soddy Daisy won 9-1 in their recent league challenge against Red Bank (Chattanooga, TN)
