The crowd at Friday's league battle between the West Marion Trojans (Foxworth, MS) and the host Perry Central Bulldogs (New Augusta, MS), saw West Marion's baseball team get by Perry Central by a tally of 3-2.

The Trojans (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against Pearl River Central (Carriere, MS). The Blue Devils enter the non-league battle with a 12-7 record. In their last battle, Pearl River Central held off Terry (Terry, MS), 17-2, in a league battle.
