The South Side Hornet baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting White Station Spartans to 6 in the Hornet non-league win on Friday.

The Hornet now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Star City for a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. South Side will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Woodlawn (Rison, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-7.

With the defeat, White Station drops to 10-4 on the year. The Spartans travel to Gentry (Gentry, AR) to clash with the Pioneers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 29.
