Virginia High School Baseball - Magna Vista loses to Salem
March 28, 2025: Salem, VA 24153 Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Magna Vista Warriors (Ridgeway, VA), 14-4 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Salem moves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Glass (Lynchburg, VA) to battle the Hilltoppers in a non-league match on Monday, March 31. The Hilltoppers come into the match with a record of 2-1. Glass won 11-3 in their recent non-league match against Liberty (Bedford, VA)
The Warriors now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Halifax County for a non-league match on Monday, March 31. Magna Vista will battle a Comets squad coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Comets record now stands at 2-2.
