In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Cedar Creek Pirates lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-5 triumph over the Triton Mustangs.

The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Gloucester Catholic (Gloucester City, NJ). The Rams go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Gloucester Catholic held off Millville (Millville, NJ), 9-3, in a non-league challenge.
