Virginia High School Soccer - Auburn nudged by Eastern Montgomery
March 28, 2025: Elliston, VA 24087 Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Eastern Montgomery advances its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Tazewell (Tazewell, VA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Monday, March 31. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-0. Tazewell won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA)
The Eagles now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Chiswell for a Mountain Empire test on Monday, March 31. Auburn will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 6-1 league win over Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 4-0.
