The Kent Island Buccaneers triumphed over the host Arcadia Firebirds softball squad by a count of 14-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Buccaneers meet the Queen Anne's County Lions (Centreville, MD) in a Bayside - North challenge, on Monday, March 31. Kent Island will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.

The Firebirds (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Nansemond River overcame Churchland (Portsmouth, VA), 20-6, in a non-league challenge.
