March 28, 2025: Blooming Grove, TX 76626 In Friday's league test, the Blooming Grove Lions (Blooming Grove, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rice Bulldogs (Rice, TX), by a count of 12-2.
Next, the Lions meet the Scurry-Rosser Wildcats (Scurry, TX) in a 3A Region III District 18 test, on Tuesday, April 1. Blooming Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 19-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 7-14 record after their 1-0 league loss to Maypearl (Maypearl, TX).
The Bulldogs (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Palmer (Palmer, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region III District 18 test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Palmer was routed by Grandview (Grandview, TX), 16-0, in a league test.
