March 28, 2025: Killen, AL 35645 Brooks Lions (Killen, AL) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Skyline Vikings (Scottsboro, AL), 9-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Brooks upgrades its record to 10-6 on the year. The Lions host Hayden (Hayden, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Friday, March 28. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 13-14. Hayden won 14-12 in their recent league game against Corner (Warrior, AL)
The Vikings now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasant Valley for a non-league game on Friday, March 28. Skyline will play a Raiders squad coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to White Plains (Anniston, AL). The Raiders record now stands at 18-5.
