March 28, 2025: Monette, AR 72447 The Buffalo Island Central Mustangs edged the visiting Marshall Bobcats softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs play the Magazine Rattlers (Magazine, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 29. Buffalo Island Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Rattlers enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Valley Springs (Valley Springs, AR).
The Bobcats (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Calico Rock (Calico Rock, AR). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Calico Rock was nudged by Izard County (Brockwell, AR), 5-0, in a non-league challenge.
