In Friday's non-league test, the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) softball squad got by the visiting Santiago Sharks (Corona, CA), by a count of 3-2.

Next, the Aztecs meet the Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA) in a Crestview test, on Tuesday, April 1. Esperanza will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Comanches go into the test with a 11-3 record after their 4-3 league win over Cypress (Cypress, CA).
