North Carolina High School Softball - Northeastern bounces Hertford County
March 28, 2025: Elizabeth City, NC 27909 In Friday's league match, the host Northeastern Eagles softball team scored a nice 15-5 victory over the Hertford County Bears.
The Eagles (1-12) will now prepare for their match against Camden County (Camden, NC). The Bruins go into the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Camden County was routed by First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC), 6-4, in a league match.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 2. Hertford County will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record.
