The Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) softball routed the host Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles (Shelby, NC), 13-1 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Rams now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cherryville for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, April 1. Highland Tech will encounter a Ironmen team coming off a 18-0 league win over Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (Mooresboro, NC). The Ironmen record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Pinnacle Classical Academy moves to 3-2 on the season. The Eagles host Christian Family Academy (Hickory, NC) to encounter the Fire in a outing on Tuesday, April 1. The Fire come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Christian Family Academy won 13-0 in their recent league outing against Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC)
